1. Who we are
This website is operated by the Community of Owners of Ribera del Marlin (Comunidad de Propietarios) (“we”, “us”), Avenida de la Marina 2, 11310 San Roque (Cádiz), Spain. We are the data controller for the personal data processed through this website. For any privacy request, contact us at supervisor@riberadelmarlin.es.
2. What data we collect
- Account and registration data when you register for the residents’ area: first and last name, email address, phone number, apartment details (block, number, suffix), whether you are an owner or tenant, rental start and end date where applicable, your password (stored encrypted) and the unique apartment key used to verify your entitlement.
- Communications: messages you send us through the website or by email.
- Technical data: IP address, browser type and server log data, used for security and troubleshooting.
- Usage data via Google Analytics, only after your consent (see the Cookie Policy).
- Registration count: when a registration for the residents’ area is completed, our server sends Google Analytics an anonymous notification that a registration took place (owner or tenant). Without your consent this notification contains no cookie, IP address, name or other registration data and cannot be linked to you; if you have accepted statistics cookies, it is linked to your existing Google Analytics visit.
3. Why we process your data and on what legal basis
We process account data to provide the residents’ portal, verify that you are an owner or tenant of Ribera del Marlin and give you access to community documents and services (performance of a contract / our legitimate interest in managing the community, Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR). We process communications to answer your questions (legitimate interest). We process technical data to keep the website secure (legitimate interest). We process analytics data to understand how the website is used and improve it (consent, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). We count completed registrations anonymously to measure the use of the residents’ portal (legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
4. Who receives your data
Our hosting provider and our website maintenance partner eConcepts Nederland process data on our behalf under data processing agreements. Google (Google Ireland Ltd / Google LLC) receives data in connection with Google Analytics, embedded Google Maps and the translation widget, as described in the Cookie Policy. We do not sell personal data and do not share it with other third parties unless required by law.
5. International transfers
Google may transfer data to the United States. These transfers are covered by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and/or EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
6. How long we keep your data
Account data is kept while you are an owner or registered tenant and deleted or anonymised no later than 12 months after your ownership or tenancy ends. Communications are kept as long as needed to handle your request. Analytics data is retained for a maximum of 14 months.
7. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify and erase your data, to restrict or object to processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time (without affecting prior processing). To exercise these rights, email supervisor@riberadelmarlin.es. You can also lodge a complaint with the Spanish supervisory authority, the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (www.aepd.es).
8. Security
Access to the residents’ area is protected by individual accounts. The website uses HTTPS encryption, and access to personal data is limited to persons who need it for community administration.
9. Minors
The residents’ area is intended for adults (owners and tenants). We do not knowingly collect data from children under 14.

We may update this statement; the current version is always available on this page.
